Torbjörn Herrmann is an advocate (lawyer) and has worked at Hepp Wenger Ryffel since 1998, mainly in the field of trademark law. His main areas of activity are the comprehensive management of trademark portfolios, from the application to enforcement. Further areas in which he specializes are trademark searches and the drafting of agreements, in particular delimitation agreements and licensing agreements, as well as other legal consultations in all areas of intellectual property law and competition law.

Torbjörn Herrmann was involved as co-author in the revision of the Swiss contribution to the 2nd edition of Der internationale Softwarevertrag (The international software agreement) by Ulrich/Lejeune and in the Patentrechtskommentar (Patent law commentary) by Fitzner/Lutz/Bodewig.

Torbjörn Herrmann studied at the faculty of law in Bern and qualified as an advocate in 1993. After working in administration he moved to the legal department of a company specializing in medical technology, where he mainly dealt with questions of contract law but also questions of trademark law. This awakened his interest in this area of law, and in 1998 he moved to Hepp Wenger Ryffel AG.

During his career, Torbjörn Herrmann has undertaken various further training courses, including a management training course (diploma from BPIH Bern).

In addition to German, Torbjörn Herrmann also speaks fluent Swedish (mother tongue) and English. He is married to a New Zealander and has two children.
