Kristin Koppelmaa

Kristin Koppelmaa joined Hepp Wenger Ryffel as a European patent attorney candidate in February 2024.  With a master´s degree in Health Sciences and Technology from ETH Zurich and hands-on experience in a medical device start-up, she is dedicated to supporting clients at the intersection of innovation and IP. Moreover, her background as a former professional equestrian athlete has instilled in her a disciplined and thoughtful approach to solving IP challenges, whether within European or international jurisdictions.  During her academic career, including her bachelor´s studies in Biomedical Sciences at Maastricht University, she has gained expertise in neuroscience and genetics in particular. In her leisure time, she enjoys finding balance and inspiration in the greenness of nature.
