Dominik Scherrer is a patent attorney trainee at Hepp Wenger Ryffel. He supports clients in patent prosecution in various jurisdictions and conducts patentability and freedom-to-operate searches. He is also involved in European and international opposition, nutility and infringement proceedings.
Dominik Scherrer studied chemistry at the University of Zurich and received his doctorate’s degree in chemistry with a focus on micro- and nanosystems at the University of Basel and IBM Research Europe in Rüschlikon. His research focused on Si-based flow microreactors, solid-phase synthesis and surface-enhanced spectroscopy.
In May 2022, Dominik Scherrer joined Hepp Wenger Ryffel as a patent attorney trainee.
