Stefan Seidel

Dr. sc. nat.

Stefan Seidel is a patent attorney trainee at Hepp Wenger Ryffel. She assists clients in patent prosecution proceedings in Switzerland and abroad and conducts patentability and freedom-to-operate searches. She is also involved in European and international opposition, nullity and infringement proceedings.

After completing his apprenticeship as a polymechanic, Stefan Seidel studied biotechnology for his bachelor’s degree and computational life sciences for his master’s degree at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW). He then completed his PhD at the TU Berlin at the Institute of Chemical and Process Engineering with a focus on computational fluid dynamics for bioprocess optimization.
Stefan Seidel worked as a research assistant and associate for seven years. During this time, he led various research and development projects in the field of biochemical engineering and cell cultivation techniques in collaboration with various international industrial partners.

In September 2024, Stefan Seidel joined Hepp Wenger Ryffel as a patent attorney trainee.
