Severin Lustenberger is a patent attorney candidate at Hepp Wenger Ryffel. He assists clients with patent granting procedures both domestically and internationally and conducts patentability and freedom-to-operate searches. He is also involved in European and international opposition, nullity, and infringement proceedings.
Severin Lustenberger has extensive expertise in chemistry, biology, and computer science. He earned his Ph.D. in radiopharmacology at ETH Zurich, where he worked on the development of diagnostic drug candidates for cancer treatment. His studies in pharmaceutical sciences were significantly shaped by a research stay at the Center for Protein Research in Copenhagen (DK), as well as by his master's thesis at Harvard Medical School and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston (US).
His professional experience includes work in analytical development and quality control at a large pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing company.
